Chicago Auto Show at the McCormick Place
The Chicago Auto Show comes to Chicago Feb 11-20 at McCormick Place Convention Center. Originally the show began in 1901, and is the largest and most popular auto show in North America and best-known auto exposition on the continent. The Chicago Automobile Trade Association (CATA) is the oldest and largest metropolitan dealer organization in the country and has produced the Chicago Auto Show since 1935. This year will be the 109th anniversary of the Chicago Auto Show. The scale of the show is enormous as the Chicago Auto Show takes up more than 1 million square feet of the McCormick Place convention complex. Exhibitions include domestic and international worldwide and North American auto makers of passenger cars and trucks, sport utility vehicles and modern concept cars of the future. There will be close to 1,000 different vehicles on display. Attendees will also have access to see accessories and auto-related special exhibits, competition racing vehicles, municipal vehicles, antique cars and collector vehicles.
